Jovito Angeles, MD, joined the Section of
Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation Medicine as an Assistant
Professor of Surgery lending his clinical expertise in the areas
of hand and upper extremity surgery, brachial plexus injuries,
reconstructive microsurgery, and pediatric orthopaedics. Dr.
Angeles holds a medical degree from the University of
Philippines and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at
Philippine General Hospital. He completed a fellowship in hand
and microsurgery with extensive experience in brachial plexus
reconstruction, free tissue transplantation, and replantation at
the Ogori Daiichi General Hospital in Japan. He then trained as
a fellow in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University
of Chicago Hospitals and in pediatric orthopaedics at the Los
Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital.
